Okay one GREAT thing about the +UP rewards is that you can use the +UP Reward to lower the amount of money you spend out of pocket.
For Example, at the beginning of July there was a $10 +UP Reward when you bought 4 of the John Freida Products.
So for the first transaction it was like this
4 X John Freida Products (2 of the Frizzease and 2 of the Root Awakening Products)
I used the following coupons AND My Wellness Plus card to spend less money Out of pocket to begin with.
2 X $3/1 off of John Frieda Root Awakening product
2 X $2/1 off of John Frieda Products Excluding Root Awakening
$5/$20 purchase Video Value coupon
So My OOP Was about $10 + Tax BUT I earned a $10 +UP Reward So really I only bought the John Frieda for the amount of the tax.
On the next transaction, I used the $10 +UP reward to only spend $4.11 OOP instead of the $14.11 it would have been if I hadn't had the +UP Reward.
4 X John Freida Products (2 of the Frizzease and 2 of the Root Awakening Products)
2 X Stayfree 24 count with Bonus 8 pads (BOGO Free Sale)
2 X Lay's Chips (BOGO FREE Sale)
1 X Marlboro Special Blend Cigarettes
I used the following coupons
2 X $3/1 off of John Frieda Root Awakening product
2 X $2/1 off of John Frieda Products Excluding Root Awakening
1 X Stayfree BOGO FREE Coupon (makes BOTH of the Stayfree pads FREE)
Wellness Plus $10 +UP Reward
50 cents off of $5 Snack Wellness coupon
$5/$25 purchase Video Value coupon
Total OOP Was Only $14.11 for BOTH Transactions and earned me ANOTHER $10 +UP Reward
for a future purchase.

Coupon clipping services On Ebay.com and on the web
Okay when I first started clipping coupons and heard about coupon clipping services, I thought NO WAY was I ever going to actually PAY for coupons. But 3 months later, I realized what a time saving economical service they provided. :-)
For example, I just recently spent $36.15 for 50 of the $2/1 Pampers 60+ count wipes coupons (that is from 3 Ebay.com auctions and that includes the shipping and handling) So i spent 72 cents per coupon.
So I had 50 Pampers wipes coupons that I used at Wal-Mart to buy 50 Pampers wipes (which only costs $1.97 at Wal-Mart) so I only had to pay for the tax on the wipes.
50 Pampers wipes = $98.50
- $40.65 ($36.15 + $5.91 in tax)
Savings of $63.76 overall
Now if I had been able to purchase the coupons through a coupon clipping service INSTEAD of thru Ebay.com where I was bidding on the coupons I would have spent less per coupon.
Normally, most coupon clipping services normally charge anywhere from 5-20 cents per coupon depending on the value of the coupon.
BTW You are not actually buying coupons from the coupon clipping services on Ebay or on the web, you are paying for their time and effort to collect the coupons you are wanting.

UPDATE:Recyclebank Problem with Flipswap Points
WOW Talk about QUICK customer service
I was on the phone about 3pm this afternoon with the customer service woman expecting to have to fight for my missing points and SURPRISE she AUTOMATICALLY just added my missing points for me.
GREAT Customer service and turns out that they have been having a lot of complaints like mine about the Flipswap people offering one thing and than not wanting to give the customer the points.
If you turned in a cell phone to Flipswap and are missing your points, just call Recyclebank's customer service number at 1-888-727-2978
The customer service woman was REALLY nice and very understanding about the situation.
I'm happy I called because now I have my missing points :)
Thanks from Jamie

Recyclebank Problem with Flipswap Points
Okay I figured I would check out Recyclebank.com and see how many points I would get for turning in some of my old cell phones.
I filled out the information they asked me about the make, model and condition of the phone (Razur) with cosmetic damage to the case and water damage (nephew threw it in our toilet)
Well long story short THEY said it was worth a total of 204 points, I figured great that would be 4 of the $4/20 CVS rewards deals (I would have sent for 1 each month since you can't redeem more than one per month)
I just got an e-mail stating:
We wanted to update you that the device you sent to Flipswap for recycling has been received and reviewed. However, the device received by Flipswap did not match with what was submitted at RecycleBank.com for the following reason:
The condition stated did not match.
We have credited your account 10.0 RecycleBank Points as a thank you for helping keep your electronic device out of the landfill and recycling with us.
You can see this Points credit reflected now in your Account at Recyclebank.com.
Grrrrrrr When I read that I was sooo mad I could of Spit nails!! I feel like it was a bait and switch sorta situation. I've already sent them an email telling them EXACTLY that. And that I didn't appreciate them backing out of what they had promised. I want the points they promised or I'm calling the BBB on them. It's not like they just took off 10 to 20 points for one reason or another. They took over 190 points away from what the ORIGINAL quote was!!
I'll update later about what they tell me or if me and RecycleBank can come to a compromise about this or not.
thanks from Jamie

I've got to apologize for being so slack on posting
OMG All I can Say Is SCORE lol
Okay I went shopping at a couple different Walmarts yesterday. I found a couple of different desk type calendars marked down from like $5 down to $1.50 to $2.50 at the first WalMart (Smithfield, NC) true the calendars were good from August of 2009 till July of 2010 but I figure I can use white out to use the 2009 pages for this year instead of throwing them out
The Biggest score was finding a 18 month desk type Calendar for ONLY 2 CENTS I thought that it was a mistake but I had the guy in the electronics area scan it for me and YEP YEP it was only 2 whole Pennies I now have (2) of the desk type calendars on the wall next to my computer desk now (one for trains/auctions/RAOKs etc I've received and one for Envies/RAOKS/Trains I've Sent out
I found a couple different Wallets marked down from $5 to just A DOLLAR (insert picture of me drooling) Sorry Wallets are my weakness In the jewelry part, I found these ADORABLE Lionel Train keychains (both the picture insert kind of keychains and soft rubber Oooohhh soooo cute Teddy Bear Conductor Keychains for just a QUARTER Each!!) and Marked down jewelry.
I was passing out business cards about WUC and pretty soon I was out of the dozen or so business cards I'd brought with me. So I started writing on spare pieces of paper and even gave one worker the WUC web addy on a scrap piece of cardboard from the box she was stocking toothpaste out of
I was leaving WalMart and was returning the cart to the corral things in the parking lot when I spotted an aluminum can in the parking lot already crushed. I snatched it up and was sorta laughing when I said it was money not trash to an older lady who was walking past me. She laughed said she agreed about that and I went on to start telling her about WUC and how I was saving money using more coupons and trading and riding coupon trains.
That's when I gave her the business card with WUC addy and she dropped a bomb on me Saying she had been saving aluminum cans at her house since her son (I think) had been 12 and he was now about 20 some years old. And she asked me if I wanted them! I said I sure would go out to her home and pick up the aluminum cans from her house I have no ideal if its 4 bags of cans or if its an entire garage full of cans I just know that they're free to me
I've got her home address and her cell number, I'll call her today and see when is a good time to come by and pick up the aluminum cans. I'll be going straight from her home to the recycling center
I thought we were through talking and she started to walk off towards her Cadillac when she turned back around and asked if me, my sister, and our friend Heather wanted some clothes she was gonna take to the Salvation Army. We said sure and went over to her Caddy and she proceeded to give us a bunch of clothes. The day had started off pretty crappy for Heather because she had a blow out early that morning but she ended up with at least half a dozen different pieces of clothes for work including a LAMBSKIN Leather Jacket!!!
Mrs Massengil was just a REALLY Cool older lady that I never would have met if it wasn't for WUC So THANK YOU for making this Website
